Often I will notice that my PC (1GB RAM) has slowed to a crawl, and looking in the Windows Task Manager shows that the AcroRd32.exe process is using 98% of the memory. Though I haven't established a pattern yet, I know that the problem appears after having opened a pdf hyperlink in Firefox. Though that window is closed, AcroRd32 seems to persist.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this as the only way to get the memory back is to manually terminate the process.
