I don't know if this is the right place to ask this or not, so please tell me.
I have Acrobat 6 Standard and use it for viewing local (my computer) PDF files. But I now have a problem with both IE7 and Firefox in clicking an HTML link to a PDF file. Instead of seeing the file open in the browser as before, I new get a dialog that gives me the choice to open, save or cancel. No browser view at all.
Is this a problem related to Acrobat, or is there some other issue? I've heard that the browsers load some sort of filter or plug-in to see the PDF's but don't know where to begin to resolve this.
Can someone give me a pointer?
Thanks!
