I am using Acrobat 8 to pre-flight our PDF files that I am sending to our printer. I run the files through
Advanced >> Print Production >> Convert Colors and specify "Device Gray Convert" and also "Preserve Black Objects"
I have then tested these files and printed them from Acrobat and find them to be monocolor on our in-house equipment. However, my printer is claiming that they are coming to them as 4/c and not just black. The printer is using Pitstop with Acrobat 7.
Is there something more I can do insure that I am sending black and white-only pages?
Andy
