Hello all. I'm new to the list and this is my first posting. I've been looking for answers for the last month to a problem and I'm hoping you can help. Â I'm on OSX 10.4 but still have a customer using the Classic Apps Acrobat 4.05 with Pitstop Pro 5. (Waiting for them to upgrade) When I upgraded to 10.4, I wiped everything out and reinstalled all applications. Since then, I haven't been able to get Pitstop Pro to allow me to preflight. I can't "manage" the profiles. I keep getting the error that the "profile database is in use by another application". However, no other apps are open. Â I found an answer on the Internet, but that didn't fix it. I tried just copying it back over from a backup of my previous OS 10.2.8. I tried Pitstops Tech Support and nothing they offered as help would work. Their final answer was to "Start Up" on the Classic 9, but this is not an option in 10.4. Their only other solution was to Upgrade Acrobat and Pitstop. I did that awhile back, but I still need these Classics for a customer. Â Anyone have this happen? If so, how did you fix it?
