I just found the directions to do this about a month ago. . . in summary, you do the following:
1. Install Adobe Acrobat Reader version 4.0 or higher onto the CD-ROM 2. Create an Autorun.inf file that calls the Reader on the CD, then calls the PDF file that you want to launch 3. Put the Autorun.inf file on the root level of the CD-ROM 4. Burn the master. Be sure to use Joliet, not ISO 9660. 5. Test
It's actually pretty easy to do. For the complete instructions, see the PDF created by Mark Anderson (mark@yeardley.demon.co.uk) at http://www.yeardley.demon.co.uk/pdf.html. It's very complete and coherent.
