Alliant Techsystems Link Manager will do exactly what you want. You can
change link colors or make them invisible. You can also use it delete
certain links or all links.

Is there a way to make global changes to link attributes
in a pdf, say from red to blue or even invisible?

I've looked inside the pdf with an editor and have
located the /C [1 0 0] attribute associated with
annotation link.

I think I want to replace this with /B [ 0 0 0] to
make the link invisible, but when I do this, save
and open the file in exchange, exchange indicates that the
file is broken.

Is is possible to do what I'm trying to do?
