Scottie:
I am the manager/supervisor of policies and procedures documentation for NatWest Markets (the investment arm of National Westminster Bank Plc). I have been working for years to move our documentation on line (large bodies tend to move slowly).
I would be interested in taking a look at your manual. Simple but elegant always interests me, and we are (sooner or later) going to move our documentation online, probably in PDF format. If it's not too large, would you mail me a copy (I am not sure how big we can get files through our corporate gateway.)
Regards,
Tom

My own opinions. NatWest has theirs.

Hello Ray,
I recently finished an electronic manual for Chevron USA. Yes, I designed the printed version first. I convinced my supervisor to let me design an electronic version. I must say, It is simply done but impressive. The entire manual can fit on one floppy for distribution to offshore personnel. We can also put it on our intranet for access. We're at the beginning stages. If you are interested I could upload or mail the pdf to you. Call me at work on Monday.
