OPI images are not involved at all on these PDFs. I did have another client that has a large image library all set up in DCS format. Now those images didn't disappear, but as littleman quotes below, they processe only as low res. Acrobat does not recognize the code that links the low res image to the hi res color separations, even if the postscript will. Workaround for that scenario; is searated postscripts (C,M,Y,K), then make individual C,M,Y,K PDFs. That may not help your workflow though, it didn't mine. If you get anything from Adobe, or your OPI support, I'd be interested.
