I was in a local bookstore yesterday and there was a copy of "Adobe Acrobat on the WWW" translated into French.
Great news, this book is about Acrobat 3.0 which isn't available in France (at least the upgrade isn't, don't know about off the shelf as I am a "faithful" customer...).
I remember the good old days when Adobe let us upgrade to International English version before sending us the French version of software. Now I understand that this does mean extra cost, but as we are already paying a premium for Adobe products, the cost of mailing a CD-ROM shouldn't make to much of a dent in Adobe Europes comfortable profit margin...
In those good old days I installed the International English version and the French version, when it arrived 6 months later usually stayed on the shelf under its shrinkwrap...
Sorry to bore you with my ramblings, but I need this software now!
Cheers
Tony
PS I hope that Adobe people appreciate that I am not pestering them continuously with private mail, but this may soon change as my patience (and that of my clients), is running short.
