I'd like to expand on Max's reply. For the Acrobat Forms 3.5 update there
are 3 files that you are likely to want to read. All three can be found in
the Help folder of Exchange.
Forms.pdf - This file has user level information on using the plug-in to
author forms. It talks about cut/copy/paste, the grid mode, performing
simple calculations, new features, etc.
AcroJS.pdf - This document describes the Acrobat JavaScript object model:
how events work, how to access field object, how to manipulate a document,
and application level services.
JSSpec.pdf - This is the Netscape JavaScript language definition. Light
reading for programmers already familiar with C, Java, or BASIC.
In addition, if you have purchased the Forms 3.5 update on CD, there are
numerous sample files showing everything from credit card validation to date
calculations. For a limited time, the CD comes with a bonus pack that
includes tutorials and videos that describe forms authoring shortcuts.
