Re: Distiller: Out of harddisk space
Finally, I found an answer which works for NT (tnx to everybody): One has to create a *new* local port for the Distiller like F:\DISTASST.PS and assign it: - Right-click the Distiller "printer" in the printer folder, select properties - select the ports-tab, add port, local port, new port - enter the new location for the intermediate file, like f:\distasst.ps - make sure this new "port" is checkmarked - bingo! >> I'm running Acrobat's Distiller 3.02 on WinNT4.0, but the Distiller always >> tries to create its intermediate .ps file (DISTASST.PS) on drive C: >> Due to the large amount of harddisk space needed, I can't distill large >> files; I tried to find out a setting to tell Distiller to use drive F: (a >> whoppy 2GB partition, completely free) instead, but without luck. >If you find the answer, please publish it to this group as >sooner or later the problem will hit everyone that is >using NT.
