I don't have a solution (other than getting a pile of Adobe CDROMs). In fact, you aren't likely to find one. There is a little that could be shed from the installation, in many cases, but the terms for redistribution of Reader 3.0 actually prevent you from cutting down the installer (e.g. by leaving out forms or netscape plug-ins).
This may seem harsh, but I think it's sensible. If a user has received Reader from one source, they will assume it's complete. If they later get a PDF file that needs a missing feature, I can see this leading to a lot of confusion. ------------------------------------------------------------- Aandi Inston Quite Software Ltd. quite@dial.pipex.com http://ds.dial.pipex.com/quite/
