Re: need more specific information on the e-forms process
I have a web client that wants a form that can be filled out and returned to them by the general public.
In most documents about Acrobat Reader 5 or Acrobat Approval, it mentions that the filled out form works on an intranet where all users have access to and use of Acrobat Approval or Acrobat 5. What would I need to allow general public to fill out and submit forms from their browsers only, without requiring any other software on their part (other than acrobat reader?)
What do I need installed on my web server to process the forms to keep the filled out information? where does the filled out form go? I would need to redirect it by email to the client if it cannot be set to send to them. Would the client also need a copy of Acrobat 5 or Approval to print the filled out form, or can the filled out form be sent to them as a flat pdf (they only need to print the filled out form - they do not need live data access).
I have read all the information I can find on the Adobe site, and it does not seem to address these specifics.
thanks
