I'm just starting to dabble/investigate flash, but can't you save a
movie as a stand alone .exe file? then you could shell out with an
application link to the file. Obviously, this wouldn't work on mac
side.....

Alternatively, you could build a html file with one frame .pdf and one
the flash file. Perhaps? just some ideas....
